The Wolfson Centre for Stem Cells, Tissue Engineering and Modelling (STEM) which has a unique blend of polymer chemistry, tissue engineering and stem cell expertise. Housed in a new £25 million facility at the heart of the University campus the group has invented a number of new scaffolds for clinical application. In addition, Nottingham has expertise in stem cell derivation and differentiation. Technology transfer is an important feature of our approach. Nottingham has established 2 successful spin-out companies and have links with numerous leading healthcare and regenerative medicine companies.
