The Conversation is an independent and free source of news and views, sourced from the academic and research community and delivered direct to the public.
It has a team of professional editors who work with university experts to unlock their knowledge, helping to shape it into content that is understandable and engaging for lay audiences. Everything it publishes is free to read and free to share or republish under Creative Commons licensing.
The Conversation has an incredible reach, with over four million unique users to its site each month, and a readership of over 10 million when you include content republished elsewhere. Since becoming a member in 2016, academics and researchers from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ have written almost 450 pieces for the platform, securing over 13.5 million reads from countries across the world.
Attendees at the training session will learn more about how the platform works, tips on pitching an idea, and advice on writing for a lay audience.
