LU-ARC launches new summer lecture series on diversity in architecture

LU-ARC is delighted to be launching a new summer lecture series, commencing on Thursday 30 July.

Diversity in Architecture: People, Processes and Products is open for all to attend and will aim to promote a broad discussion that challenges architectural conventions and features invited guests who will share their own personal experiences and portfolios in reference to the three states of diversity.

The team hopes to investigate and discover more about the broader range of possibilities that can form the richness that architectural education and practice have to offer.

The series is based on diversity across more than just people; whilst a very important part of the discussion, the lectures will also talk about the importance of diversity in ways of working and what designers produce.

The evening discussions will take place every fortnight on Zoom from 7pm-8pm, running until 24 September.

Tomorrow’s lecture will include special guests Sophie Beagles (Ealing Council), Dr Jos Boys (UCL) and Joseph Zeal Henry (Greater London Authority).
