During the day, prizes were handed out to students that excelled during their time studying our Criminology, Sociology and joint honours programmes. Prizes were awarded to:
- Eleanor Johnson - School of Social Sciences and Humanities Community Prizes: Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy: Part C
- Elena Godwin - Professor Albert Cherns Memorial Prize: Criminology and Sociology
- Jessica Metson - Professor Albert Cherns Memorial Prize: Criminology and Sociology
- Naomi Catherall - Professor Albert Cherns Memorial Prize: Sociology and Media
Awarded annually to the student achieving the highest mark in the dissertation module. The Professor Albert Cherns Memorial Prize takes the form of a certificate and a £50 Amazon voucher. Professor Cherns was the founding Head of the Department of Social Sciences at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and the prizes are presented each year at a reception held for graduates and their guests following the summer degree ceremony.
