Yesmeen’s research interests fall in the field of sustainability science and using transdisciplinary approaches to explore and drive sustainability transformation at the interface of technology, policy and society.
Her research focuses on using holistic approaches to understand the characteristics of individual cities and identify complex issues regarding resource management and opportunities for low-carbon development that could assist policy and decision-makers in creating robust urban sustainability strategies based on scientific evidence and tailoring contextual sustainable interventions.
