Titled Mapping the Moral Geographies of Education: Character, Citizenship and Values, the book explores the growth of ‘character education’ in schools and youth organisations over the last decade, with new material from recent ESRC projects in the UK. The research covers historical and contemporary debates, demonstrating how these moral geographies extend beyond the classroom and campsite. Sarah presented the key arguments of the book in her keynote for the Geographical Association earlier this year.
Sarah shared how “The book should be of interest to human geographers and those working in education studies and across the social sciences. I am thrilled it’s now been published, and I hope it interests our students here at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ too.”
