10th International Conference on Population Geographies
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, UK - 1st-3rd July 2019
The International Conference on Population Geographies is a biennial gathering of population geographers, spatial demographers, and others interested in presenting papers and sharing ideas on spatial population issues. The conference theme for the 10th ICPG at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is "Resilient Populations".
Keynote speakers
The confirmed keynote speakers are:
- Professor Mark Ellis (University of Washington, Seattle, USA). Immigrant geographies, nativism, and xenophobia: past and present
- Dr Jamie Goodwin-White (University of California Los Angeles, USA). Contested states of race and immigration in Trump's America
Presentation format
Conference papers will each be allocated a time slot of 20 minutes. The recommended length of presentation is 15 minutes so that 5 minutes can be used for Q&A. The conference rooms will be equipped with a laptop and data projector, provide Internet access, and contain a whiteboard and flip chart board with suitable pens. The conference registration fee for academics will be £375 until 30 April 2019.
