During the day, prizes were handed out to students that excelled during their time studying our International Relations, Politics and History programmes.
Prizes were awarded to:
- Selina Kumdzu - the School of Social Sciences and Humanities Community Prize: Communication and Media: Part C
- Harvey Sparrow - the Professor Albert Cherns Memorial Prize
The School of Social Sciences and Humanities Community Prize is a prize to the value of £50 to a Part C communication and media student who is judged to have made an exceptional extra-curricular contribution to the discipline, School, University or wider community.
The Professor Albert Cherns Memorial Prize takes the form of a certificate and a £50 Amazon voucher. Professor Cherns was the founding Head of the Department of Social Sciences at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and the prizes are presented each year at a reception held for graduates and their guests following the summer degree ceremony.
