The sport and lab facilities here are incredible and well-conditioned. Using these facilities in my lab and practical sessions really helped me to get the grasp of what future careers will be like if I choose to work in a lab or as a coach.
I chose to study my course at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ because I love learning about biomechanics of movements in sports, and º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is the world’s best university for sport related subjects.
I found the practical sessions of coaching very useful as students were given opportunities to prepare a coaching session to deliver to the class and discussed areas of improvement and what went well at the end of each session together. This has really benefitted my professional development and progression.
The lecturers’ expertise in their field really helps me to learn the modules in my course with great depth and allows me to apply the knowledge to real-life situations. Not only does this help me fully understand the lectures, but it also prepares me for post-graduation life.
My career plans are currently uncertain, but I would love to study further and have a career in the field of sport science. The university’s Careers Network provides a variety of support in regard to jobs and placements for a wide range of occupations and endeavours.
My current highlights of my time at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ include getting into an AU men’s 2 Volleyball Team and being elected as my course representative.
