After researching the course, I realised Business Psychology was the perfect course for me and that º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ was one of the only and best universities to provide it.

Although primarily being a psychology-based course I have had a lot of flexibility in building my modules to suit my learning around both business and psychology to the degree that I find useful.

During my studies I knew I wanted to complete a placement year in order to develop experience working in a corporate environment and to put my university knowledge and theory into practice, as well as building my soft skills.

I believe my placement year was one of my greatest experiences to date and it has led me to build so much confidence in myself and my decisions. I can now proceed with my career using a high level of both professional and soft skills.

My role at Goodyear was as the Retail Marketing Undergraduate, I gained plenty of varied experience. This included: event management; working with the franchise distribution network; and the ins and outs of SEO, eCommerce and media, while also taking on lots of extra responsibilities.

During the placement, I was allocated a brilliant placement tutor who was available for support at any time and had regular meetings to assist with my Diploma in Placement Studies report and wellbeing.

My best accomplishment during the year was raising over £5,000 for the corporate charity, Breast Cancer Now with a range of self-led activities.

I was also thrilled to win the Undergraduate Placement Award, it was lovely to have the hard work from my year recognised, both by my manager who nominated me and the judges, especially when considering all the amazing work completed by other students just like myself.

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has been an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.

When I made the decision to switch my degree from Fine Art after only two or three weeks at the University, I had no doubt that I wanted to continue my journey here.

The atmosphere and community on campus is second to none.
