Our campus is just two miles from junction 23 of the M1 motorway and there are clear signposts on all the other main approach roads to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

Travelling by coach or bus

Coach and bus services to and from other parts of Leicestershire and the UK have stops in º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ town centre and outside campus.

You can travel by National Express, Megabus or regional bus services to and from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

Travelling by train

Regular services operate between º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and other main line towns, including daily trains to and from London St Pancras International in as little as 1 hour 16 minutes.

You may be able to buy a combined train and bus ticket which incorporates the bus journey to and from the railway station. Just select º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Bus (XLO) when booking on websites such as The Trainline and East Midlands Railway.

Taxis are also usually available at the station.

Travelling by plane

East Midlands Airport is only 7 miles away and offers both domestic and international flights.

The time to travel by car is based on the time it takes if you are driving from the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ campus. Also, the times listed above for travelling by train do not include the time it takes to travel to the train station. However from campus, this is a 10 minute drive or a 26 minute walk.

University shuttle bus service

The sprint Kinchbus runs between º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ train station and Holywell Park on campus, and has plenty of stops across campus.

In term time this service runs every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday. You can find the most up to date timetables on the Kinchbus website.

You can travel for free on sprint around the campus from 7.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

There is also a free campus shuttle bus service that travels around the campus and operates from 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
