Study or work abroad
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ actively encourages students to gain an international experience.
Students can undertake a study exchange or a work placement outside of the UK. In both cases, the opportunity to gain insight into another culture, broaden experience and development both intellectual and personal maturity is invaluable.
Study exchanges
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has a number of partner universities in European and international locations. Students might spend one semester at their chosen location or a full academic year, depending on what their degree course at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ can accommodate. The majority of our partner universities offer modules taught in English, so language skills need not be a barrier to going on a study exchange.
Work abroad
Some students prefer to take up the opportunity to work abroad rather than undertake a study exchange. Again, this can be done in a variety of European or international locations. Students might spend one semester or a full academic year on work placement, depending on what their degree course at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ can accommodate.
Turing Scheme
The Turing Scheme is the UK Government's new global funding programme for students in Higher Education studying or working abroad. Under the Turing Scheme, students could be eligible for a cost of living grant (between £335 and £490 a month) if they are studying or working abroad for a period of at least four weeks but no more than one year.
