Engineering Experience
Engineering Experience is our two-day, one-night, on-campus residential for year 11 student who want to find out more about studying engineering at university.
We are working on plans for the 2025 Engineering Experience residential. Once confirmed, details will be updated on this webpage.
Successful applicants will take part in a range of practical Engineering workshops and industry talks. Each session will be run by our academics, careers team or an expert in industry and students are encouraged to pick subjects that they may not have considered before.
The event will include:
- Practical, hands-on workshops & activities delivered by our academics, researchers, and expert alumni in industry.
- Information to help you explore different types of engineering and the careers they provide.
- Explore the different courses on offer at one of the largest engineering universities in the UK.
- Opportunities to ask current students any questions about student life and living at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

How much does it cost?
Engineering experience is free for successful applicants to the engineering experience program, as places are funded by º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ. This includes accommodation, food and travel (Travel costs covered up to £80).
