Experience Days
Our experience days are the perfect opportunity for you to see our beautiful campus and find out more about what life is like here at our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ campus, to help you make your decision about which university to study your master's or PhD.
What to expect
Our tours of the campus usually take between 60 - 75 minutes and cover the majority of campus (excluding academic departments and inside our accommodation). You'll be able to take a look at our facilities and enjoy our green open spaces.
Itinerary
Time | Topic |
13:00 - 14:00 | Arrival and registration in the Edward Herbert Building (EHB) |
14:00 - 14.30 | Welcome talk |
14:30 - 15:30 (approx.) | Campus tour |
Don’t forget to wear comfy shoes as our campus is big and our tours are on foot! If you or your guest have any mobility issues which you would like us to factor into your tour experience, give us a call on 01509 222804 or drop us an email.
Finding out more about your subject
These campus tour events do not include information on specific subject areas and it is not possible to show you inside our academic departments during your tour. Further information about our master's and PhD programmes can be found online where you will also find the contact details for the academic department you are interested in where colleagues will be happy to answer your questions via email or phone. You can also see inside many of our academic buildings and labs online with our virtual tours.
Guests
In order to be able to effectively manage the campus tour events guests are limited to a maximum of two guests per person. If you bring additional guests with you to the event, unfortunately, they will not be able to join the tour, however, they are welcome to enjoy the facilities available at the EHB Food Court or wander around the campus on a self-guided tour (the tours start and finish at the Edward Herbert Building so arrange to meet any extra guests back there at the end of the event).
Accommodation
Unfortunately, we are unable to take tour groups in to view our accommodation offering during these events. Our accommodation is currently full of our amazing current students and so for health, safety and security reasons we aren’t able to take guests in to their homes. You can find our more about the accommodation options available to you on our dedicated accommodation website where you can take virtual tours of our 3 postgraduate halls we have on offer.
When you arrive
- Upon arrival at the University please make your way to the Edward Herbert Building (EHB) to register for the event.
- Parking is available onsite in a number of car parks nearby including Car Park 5, Car Park 18 and Car Park 19 which is right by the EHB.
- If you want to arrive a little earlier and grab some refreshments before your tour, the Edward Herbert Building’s Food Court will be open where you can purchase hot and cold drinks and food.
