Visa information

If you are not a UK or Irish national, you will require a visa to study in the UK.

If you are coming to the UK for less than six months, you may study as a Visitor.  Depending on your nationality, you may be able to obtain leave to enter the UK as a Visitor on arrival in the UK, or you may need to obtain a visa prior to travelling to the UK.  The Placements, Exchanges and Governance Team will issue you with a letter to confirm the details of your exchange programme.

If you will be studying for more than six months, you will need to apply for a Student visa.   The University will issue you with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to support your visa application.
