Problem Solving
This box aims to provide students with the soft skills to effectively tackle problem solving from a logical/strategic thinking angle and aims to build resilience when tasks prove to be challenging.
The box also aims to provide young people with the necessary skills to face problem-solving head on and to provide examples of times when they have found solutions to problems; which will be beneficial in both higher education and when applying to jobs.
Time requirements
Individual activities can be selected for timeframes as short as 15 minutes, but this box provides a selection of activity combinations lasting up to 3hrs.
We would recommend trying to incorporate as many of the activities as possible. The reflections are crucial to ensure students are building their knowledge.
