Tennis Coaching

Our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Affiliated Tennis Coaches provide an independent service from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Sport, to offer individual, one-to-one lessons and coaching.

All coaching sessions are tailored specifically for the player, providing specialist support to identify strengths and areas for improvement to achieve on-court success.

From complete beginner to regular players, our affiliated tennis coaches are available to all levels of ability and can help you develop your game of tennis.

If you would like to receive individual tennis coaching, please enquire below using the Enquiry Form and your details will be passed to our affiliated tennis coaches to contact you directly to arrange your first coaching session. 

All sessions will take place within the Tennis and Squash Centre at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, and scheduled at a time that suits you.

Fee: From £30 per 1-hour Tennis session (including court bookings), payable directly to the coach
Equipment: Rackets and balls can be provided

David Boddy

Level 5 Coach, LTA Tutor, and National Assessor

Tennis Coordinator at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

David has over 35 years of coaching experience, working with beginners through to performance level. He has helped players develop from beginners to become county and regional-level junior players and is currently working with a national wheelchair competitor.

"With my experience, I understand the various challenges that face all ages and standards of players and like to strike the right balance between development and enjoyment. If you would like to improve your game as an individual or group please make contact."

Lottie Howard

Lottie joined º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in September 2023, as the role of Assistant Tennis Coach. As a player, Lottie trained at the National Tennis Centre alongside top British players. Lottie won several National events and competed internationally on the ITF tour.

Lottie is currently working towards her Level 4 Senior Performance Coach qualification. She has captained Hampshire county teams, assisted on National camps, and travelled on GB tournament trips. Lottie is looking forwards to implementing her previous player knowledge and current coaching philosophies into the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ university programme, whilst continuing to learn and grow from the players and coaches around her.

Neha Kibria

Accredited Level 3 Tennis Coach

Neha is a young and enthusiastic coach with a huge array of experience from coaching beginners to performance players of all ages. She is an LTA Level 3 Accredited Coach and truly enjoys coaching and seeing how players progress and learn to love the game.

Emma Howat

Accredited Level 3 Tennis Coach

Emma is an LTA Level 3 Accredited Tennis Coach and was the runner-up Young Person of the Year at the LTA Awards 2022. Emma has six years of experience coaching players of all ages and abilities across several tennis clubs, coaching academies and luxury hotels in Scotland, England and Canada and is also an LTA Licensed Referee, Competition Organiser, IPTPA Pickleball Instructor and the current Head Coach at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Greenfields Tennis Club.

“I love helping players grow their game and discover a passion for tennis. In particular, I enjoy working with players aged five to twelve who are looking to develop their game and work towards playing matches and competitions.”

Eve Robinson

Accredited Level 3 Tennis Coach

Prior to beginning my masters here at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in Strength and Conditioning, Eve completed her Bachelors in Kinesiology in the United States whilst on a tennis scholarship. As well as an experience player she has also been coaching for the last 5 years. She’s coached a variety of ages and skill levels in my time as a coach at several different clubs and venues. Whilst in the USA, she also became heavily involved in taking a leadership role in coaching her own team and as a result of this, she was offered the position as assistant coach after her graduation in December 2023. After returning to the UK, she deciding to pursue her LTA level 3 coaching qualification before beginning at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ. She worked at David Lloyd Peterborough, assisting and leading sessions mostly within the junior programme, building her experience with children younger and parents to encourage a greater involvement within the sport.

Nic Blagg

Accredited Level 3 Tennis Coach

Nic began playing tennis at a young age and quickly developed into a high-level player. His passion for the game led him to start coaching at just 16. Since then, he has worked across a range of coaching environments, from local club programs to Nike international tennis camps. Nic has successfully led tennis programs at a small local club, helping players of all ages and abilities improve their game. Throughout his coaching journey, he has worked under a variety of experienced coaches, gaining valuable insights into player development at different levels.
