Table Tennis

Table Tennis at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ caters for players of all abilities; from the highest standard BUCS players to those who are looking for a much less competitive, social game.

Athletic Union Club

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Students' Table Tennis Club has six teams competing in BUCS: four men's and two women's performance teams. Our Men's 1's are in Division 1, Men's 2's and 3's are in Division 2 and Men's 4's are in Division 3. Both the Women's 1's and 2's are in Division 1. We also have 7 º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ League teams which are available for Performance and Development players.

Our success is evident, notably with our men's first team achieving recent BUCS gold. In º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and District Table Tennis League, student teams have previously triumphed in premier and first divisions.

Hall Sport (IMS)

We encourage you to compete in table tennis for your halls, as there are numerous competitions available throughout the year. You compete against other halls, and it’s a great way to get involved in hall life and meet new people in a more social and less competitive environment.

My Lifestyle

Table tennis is also available recreationally through the My Lifestyle initiative. The turn up and play programme is open to everyone. There are no membership fees, you can just turn up and enjoy playing table tennis.

Indoor tables can be found in most halls as well as outdoor tables just outside the Hub in the student village.
