º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Lightning Women FC was established in the 2021-2022 season, and compete in the FA Women’s National League Division 1 Midlands and FA Cup.

We proudly represent º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ as part of the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Lightning family. Our campus is the home to world-class female sport. The Lightning family includes Netball, Cycling, Rugby and Wheelchair Basketball. We are committed to women’s high-performance sport and will lead the way in innovation, collaboration and development for women’s football.

Alicia Grimmond and Joy Lowe earn selection for England Futsal Lionesses Squad

In a historic achievement for English women's futsal, Alicia Grimmond, goalkeeper for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Lightning FC, and Joy Lowe, from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Students’ Women’s Football Club, have both secured spots in the first-ever England Futsal Lionesses squad.
