Emily Sharpe, otherwise known as ‘Sharpie’, has been pivotal in developing º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Lightning after the merger with º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Foxes in 2020. The versatile defender has made 66 appearances for Lightning. In addition to her commitment on the pitch, Sharpie has built the Molly’s Gift Charity, the sleeve sponsor for Lightning.

Abbey Hateley moves away from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ after completing her degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Hateley joined the team in 2021 and has been a key defensive and attacking player with fantastic adaptability to play on the right or left. Hateley has made 64 appearances for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
Turner leaves after a short stay, joining Lightning in early 2024 on a dual registration from Leicestershire side River City. After an impressive performance against Lightning in the Leicestershire and Rutland County Cup, Turner provided back-up to Alicia Grimmond, featuring in the 6-1 away victory at Notts County in April.
Hannah Snape also departs Lightning after a successful single season with the club. The Birmingham University student cemented her place at Lightning, playing 10 times this season. Snape departs as she relocates from the area.
Jorja Patterson will also be departing as she completes her undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Jorja progressed through º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Athletic Union sides before gaining a place in the Lightning Squad for the past two seasons.
