The Scholars will start the season on August 3rd with an away trip to Bugbrooke St Michaels in the extra-preliminary round of the FA Cup.
The two clubs previously faced each other in the UCL League Cup during the Covid-hit 2019-20 season, with the Scholars winning that match.
Bugbrooke currently play in the United Counties League Southern Premier, finishing comfortably mid-table last season with 50 points, having won 15, drawn 5, and lost 18.
Entering the new season, Bugbrooke has a new managerial team, Ben Foster and Ryan Nash, following the departure of Dale Walton in June. Foster joins the club after previously managing ON Chenecks, with former Bugbrooke skipper Nash stepping into management.
If the Scholars progress through the extra-preliminary round, they will face Shirebrook Town, who are their opponents in the second preseason friendly on Tuesday, July 16th.
The FA Trophy draw also took place, with the Scholars set to face Sheffield FC in the 1st Qualifying Round after receiving a bye through the Preliminary Round. The Scholars will compete in the FA Trophy for the first time after their promotion to Step 4 for the 2024-25 season.
This will be the Scholars' first visit to the oldest football club, Sheffield FC, founded in 1857. Sheffield currently play in the Northern Premier League East Division. The FA Trophy ties will take place on September 7th.
For the first time in the club's history, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Students will also compete in the FA Youth Cup for the 2024-25 season. The Scholars' U18 side will compete in the Derby City League, and the draw for the FA Youth Cup extra-preliminary round sees the Scholars hosting Matlock Town, with the winner hosting Mickleover.
Ties for the extra-preliminary round are to be played during the week commencing August 12th.
