º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Lightning can confirm Kevin Lock will leave his role as first team coach this summer to pursue other working opportunities. Lock was an essential part of the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ women’s football programme coaching team for the last three seasons. He brought positive energy, expertise and a high level of professionalism and commitment to the role and we wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours.
Speaking of his time at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, Lock said “there was never a dull moment for me in this role, I will take away many happy memories from my three years representing º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ. We developed a fantastic working environment which was made even better by the brilliant staff, volunteers and players. I’d like to place on record my thanks to those who provided me with the opportunity to represent the club and I wish everyone the very best of luck for the future.”
Head Coach Charlie Baxter said “I’d like to take the time to thank Kev for his support and hard work to me personally since arriving at the club. It was a pleasure working with Kev not only on a professional level, but also on a human level. The contributions he made to this programme will forever be appreciated. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
Issy Martin will be moving on from her role as assistant coach to pursue another coaching opportunity.
