Ace coach Phillips joins LUNTA

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ National Tennis Academy (LUNTA) has appointed Morgan Phillips as its new Academy Coach.

Phillips boasts an extensive coaching career, working alongside junior and senior players internationally.

He previously coached overseas and held the position of Lead Coach for established players Daniel Gimeno Traver (career-high ATP singles ranking world No. 48) and Evgeny Donskoy (career-high ATP singles ranking world No. 65).

He has also worked with British tennis players James Ward, Heather Watson, and Lloyd Glasspool and is Lead Development Coach to Anton Matusevich, Jack Pinninigton Jones, and Felix Gill.

Speaking about his arrival in º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, Philips said: “Everybody's journey is different, but I believe strongly with teamwork and dedication we will create clear pathways for players and guide them step by step.

“British tennis has always been a passion of mine and I’m looking forward to playing my part in delivering a bigger impact on the sport.

“Alongside the wider team, we have great ambitions to increase the amount of quality junior players whilst preparing them for professional tennis. It’s undoubtedly an exciting time to be involved in tennis at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and I can’t wait to help our players progress to the next level.”
