Olivia will be taking part in the doubles event in Glasgow alongside Team Bath’s Alicia Barnett.
After graduating from her studies in Sports Science with Management, Olivia continued training at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, which is where she gained her level 3 coaching qualification.
“It’s an incredible feeling and a real honour to have been selected to represent GB at the Billie Jean King Cup. Me and Lissey have had a great year, breaking top 100 and winning our first WTA 250. We’ve been rewarded for our progress, and I can’t wait to get stuck in with the team in Glasgow,” Olivia told º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Sport.
“º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ played a huge part in my development as a player. It’s an incredible university with an outstanding tennis set-up, and I’m very lucky to continue working with Tom Kiesel who has coached me since I was a student there”.
Great Britain will play against Kazakhstan and Spain in Group Stage C of the competition. The games will take place on Tuesday 8 and Thursday 10 November respectively, with the four winning teams qualifying for the semi-finals.
