A º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ team that contains Olympians, GB Internationals and multiple BUCS medallists is set to take on the best of British this Sunday in the annual º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ International.

After last year’s event which took place behind closed doors, the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ International (LIA) is looking forward to welcoming back spectators to the England vs Wales vs Scotland vs GB & NI Juniors vs º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ match, and for the first time will be hosting a team from the National Athletics League.

Headlining the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Past & Present team is Olympian Jess Judd, who, fresh after her automatic qualification for the 10,000m at the Oregon World Athletics Championships later this year, will be stepping down to compete in the 1500m. She is joined on the team by GB Internationals and recent BUCS Champions Josh Faulds in the 400mH, Bekah Walton and Dan Bainbridge in the javelin, Natasha Harrison in in the 400m, Taia Tunstall in the discus, George Hyde in the shot and Zoe Pollock in the 4 x 400m. Other recent BUCS Champions and medallists Zoe Price (hammer), Lily Hulland (triple jump), Bethan Morley (800m), Owen Heard (pole vault) and Alex Millard (3000m) help make up a strong º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ team.

The event also sees the return of Niamh Emerson to domestic competition after injury struggles as the former World Junior Champion competes in the match shot, and guest javelin and hurdles. She is joined in the team by exciting multi-event prospect Abi Pawlett who recently achieved the heptathlon qualifying mark for the 2022 World Junior Championships.

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is also proud that a number of its current students have been selected for other competing teams including Sophie Ashurst in the pole vault for GB Juniors, Tom Wilcock in the 110m hurdles for Wales, Zac Davies in the shot for GB Juniors, Kane Aubrey in the shot for the NAL, Emily Dibble in the javelin for NAL and Georgina Adam for Scotland in the 4 x 100m.
