Borthwick and O'Donnell to join fellow º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ athletes in Belgrade

Tokyo Olympians Emily Borthwick and Chris O’Donnell will be joining the eight º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ athletes competing for their respective countries at the World Indoor Athletics Championships taking place on the 18th – 20th March in Belgrade, Serbia.

After running a swift 46.94 indoors in Birmingham last month, Olympic finalist O’Donnell has been selected as one of five athletes who will travel to the Serbian capital to compete in the men’s 4 x 400m relay for Ireland.

Fellow Olympian Emily Borthwick has been selected to compete for Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the women’s high jump. Borthwick has been invited to compete as part of the World Athletics ranking system, in a season where she has cleared 1.95m and finished second in the World Indoor Tour series. She will join the other 36 team members of GB & NI.
