With the restructure of the women’s league, Lightning now represent four counties across the East Midlands.
Lightning Cricket are very excited to be able to play matches across these counties, including Leicestershire. Within the Lightning squad three players represent Leicestershire in the county competitions.
The 10th July is a fantastic opportunity to catch top flight T20 women’s cricket at your local County Ground for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. After a tough year for all and games without fans, it is fantastic to be able to welcome fans back to watch live cricket again.
The change of format is going to produce even more excitement and drama with teams aiming to take home the T20 title, it’s worth the watch!

Additionally, this game gives you the opportunity to watch some of the Lightning and Sparks players before they depart to take part in the inaugural season of The Hundred.
After a tough opening weekend in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint trophy, with losses against Southern Vipers and Northern Diamonds, Lightning bounced back and delivered an emphatic win over North-West Thunder the following week.

The fixture begins at 2:30pm on Saturday, 10 July 2021, with tickets available to purchase now through Ticketmaster. Tickets are prices at £10 for Adults and £5 for Concession.
