Hansson, first out the blocks, started strongly to give Sweden the lead with a 25.91 split, before teammates Sophie Hansson (29.07), Sarah Sjostrom (23.96), and Michelle Coleman (23.44) combined to claim gold in 1:42.38.
The United States won silver (1:43.61) with the Netherlands securing bronze (1:44.03).
Sweden’s recorded time equalled the world record set by the United States at World Championships in 2018.
