Lightning looking for back-to-back wins

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Lightning will be looking to record back-to-back victories this weekend as they entertain DMP Durham Sharks in the Allianz Premier 15s.

Following last weekend’s 20-8 success against Worcester Warriors, the side will be boosted by the return of England internationals, Lark Davies, Helena Rowland, Emily Scarrett, and Morwenna Talling.

Following a 27-12 victory last season against the Sharks, the team will be looking to put out another stellar performance as they challenge at the top end of the table.

This week’s line up sets up Saturday to be a brilliant showcase of rugby, and another crucial step in Lightning’s campaign towards the title.

Head Coach Rhys Edwards said:

"We are thrilled to be back at the stadium this week and feel very lucky to have the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Students Unions media team live streaming the action for us.

Having DMP Sharks come down onto campus allows us another opportunity to showcase what we can do on the field.

Having our England internationals back after a fantastic run against France is always a boost. They will be looking to take that winning mentality from the international stage to the Allianz Premier 15s.

Seeing Helena flourish for England was brilliant, and we are excited to see what she can do for us this weekend.

We are just really looking forward to getting back out at the stadium and play rugby.”

Lightning’s kick-off is at 2pm at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ stadium and will be live-streamed on Facebook and Youtube
