How to join
Begin your º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Sport experience through our app, where you can manage your membership, book classes, workout in gyms and pools, hire courts and more.
1. Download the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Sport App
Available on the App Store and Google Play.
2. Create or activate your account
Students and staff: Get started using your lboro.ac.uk email.
Alumni, Affiliates and Community: Follow the steps to get started and create an account.
3. Select a membership to unlock exclusive benefits
If you're a student you can access additional benefits, including Athletic Union clubs and BUCS UNIversal.

Membership eligibility
Students
You can purchase a student membership if you are a current student of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ. Current students of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ will automatically receive accounts with º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Sport upon registration.
If you are a º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ College student, you can purchase a student membership upon request.
If you’re a º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ College student on a º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ validated programme, follow the same activation instructions as º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ students, using your loucoll.ac.uk email address.
If you’re not on a university validated programme, create a Community PAYG account and email sportmemberships@lboro.ac.uk from your loucoll.ac.uk email address so we can change you to a student member.
Staff, Alumni and Affiliates
You can purchase a Staff, Alumni and Affiliates membership if you match one of the following descriptions:
Staff
You are a current employee of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
Alumni
You have previously studied (for more than 3 months) at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
Affiliates:
- You have a family member who is currently employed at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and they have nominated you for this membership. Only one family member may be nominated.
- You are a member of a partner organisation or part of our University Performance Programmes.
- You are a current employee of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ College.
- You are employed by a tenant organisation based on campus (not eligible for Gold membership).
- You are a Blue Light / Defence Discount Service Cardholder (not eligible for Gold membership).
- You are a current student from another institute with a valid student card (not eligible for Gold membership).
- You are 60 years old and above (not eligible for Gold membership).
All new º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ staff members can enjoy a two-week free trial of the Gold membership. For staff members of tenant organisations based on campus, a free trial of the Silver membership is available.
To claim this offer, please email sportmemberships@lboro.ac.uk within 6 months of joining the University and include the date you wish to start the free trial.
Community
You can purchase a Community membership if you are 16 years or older. If you are below 16 years old, you are only eligible for Bronze or Purple Memberships.
Pay-as-you-go prices
Pay-as-you-go is available to everyone and gives you access to classes and a wide range of facilities. If you don’t hold a sport membership at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, you can enjoy classes and facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis. If you are a member, you’ll benefit from an exclusive discount on pay-as-you-go activities.
