Smart mouthpiece to help monitor Covid-19 symptoms remotely
ORB Innovations CEO and Co-Founder Robert Paterson is extremely happy to announce the award of an Innovate UK grant to use their technology to help in the fight against Covid and beyond!
"The current crisis has been a major challenge for all businesses and we are no exception. With sports effectively on hold, we started exploring further applications of our Smartguard. Having previously received a lot of attention from the medical community - given that our smartguard can measure over 100 parameters about the body including, head impacts, player load, heart and respiratory rates, as well as blood glucose levels to name a few - we thought of finding ways to play our part in tackling the current crisis.
ORB Innovations, a London-based startup is a real-time performance, wellness & health AI data platform. Theyspecialise in the capture, analysis and presentation of human physiological data (Biotelemetry). Their platform enables non-invasive, continuous, real-time monitoring in non-controlled environments (e.g. at home or on a sports field), offering accurate deep insights into physiology no other product is able to.
