Get involved in our annual hackathon.  In teams you’ll work together to research, problem solve and present a solution to a problem we present you with.  

Join in with this one day event where we challenge you to come up with solution that lines up to one of the University's strategic goals. The winning team will be given the opportunity to bring their idea to life!

These information sessions are open to students from all schools/disciplines that are 2nd year students exploring their placement options. We recommend coming along to a session if you have ever thought about using your placement year to start and develop a business idea. (These sessions are repeated, so please only book onto one of the two available.)

Join us to up-skill your entrepreneurial capabilities, whether you are interested in running your own business/side hustle or boosting your personal skillset.

3 weekly workshops with the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Enterprise Network team to support you to gain more skills to make you more attractive to employers; and if you were interested in being your own boss in the future or continuing a side hustle, give you the starting tools to make that happen.

Join us as we delve into topics such as pitching, networking, developing the early stages of idea generation and putting together elements of a business plan!

How to apply

1. Complete this application form which requires you to provide Business Summary (if applicable), your Personal Details and Proposed Actions after the fund.
2. Submit a 3-minute video pitch (criteria: Problem, Solution, Ask) to LEN@lboro.ac.uk via a downloadable format, such as WeTransfer etc. 

Examples of eligible expenses may include, but are not limited to, external course fees, workshop attendance fees, purchase of software/tools, and equipment.
