Careers support for staff

Careers Network offers confidential support to all º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ staff (including research staff), to help with career direction, exploring new opportunities, making applications and performing well in interviews.

Whether you are looking for a change of role within the University, applying for roles in Higher Education elsewhere, or considering a complete change of career direction, the Careers Network team is happy to help.

The follow advice on our website will help you to make a start:

However, most members of staff will benefit from an initial conversation with us to establish what support you need, so that we can provide the appropriate support or signpost you in the right direction.   To arrange this, you can book a 20-minute Careers and Enterprise Advice appointment using our online system Target Connect.

If you would prefer to book a 30-minute appointment with one of our experienced careers coaches, please phone us on 01509 222765 or email us at student.services@lboro.ac.uk. Provide some some brief details about your situation and the help you would like, and we can arrange a Careers Coaching appointment for you.

Should you be at the stage where you have already been invited for a job interview and would like a 'mock interview' and some feedback on your performance, please phone or email us (as above) and we can book you in for an Interview Coaching session.
