Health & Wellbeing
The University provides a range of training, resources and support to help with health and wellbeing both for you as an individual and also when supporting others.
Mental Health
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) sessions are designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and are internationally recognised training courses. In the same way as learning physical first aid, MHFA courses teach people how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide and signpost someone to appropriate support.
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ offers the following MHFA sessions:
There is also a range of in-house designed training specifically for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ:
- Managing Mental Health for Managers and Leaders
- Understanding your own pressure and stress
- Suicide Prevention Training
If you are unsure which session is right for you, you can attend the Mental Health First Aid Briefing, which goes through what each workshop entails.
