PhD Social & Support Network

The PhD Support Network is a student-led initiative and held each week via Zoom.

We are a Doctoral Researchers-led group aiming at supporting fellow º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ DRs through their PhD journey. We are doing so by organising all kinds of social events (dinners, movie nights, pub nights, trips, end-of-term parties…), health & fitness (weekly runs on campus, men’s and women’s football…) and arts & culture (theatre nights, dinners…) related activities.

In 2020, we opened a new position on the committee: the Academic Development Coordinator, who will look to find solutions to the gaps in the current development of PhD Student experience. So, keep an eye out for this!

We offer a space for DRs to relax, meet new people and share their ups and downs at our weekly Tuesday lunches from 12:30 to 13:30 at the Graduate House (held online for the time being due to COVID-19).
