At Towers you will find:

Bedrooms

  • All rooms have 4ft beds (double bedding recommended) 
  • Students share bathroom facilities and kitchenette 
  • East Tower - 6 students per floor sharing 1 x toilet, shower and kitchen 
  • West Tower - 11 students per floor sharing 2 x toilets, 2 x showers and 1 kitchen 
  • Quiet rooms available 

Facilities

  • Catered 7 days (19 meals per week - 3 meals Monday-Friday/brunch and evening meal on Saturday and Sunday) 
  • Four lifts - both towers are connected per floor 
  • Students may request a lower floor if required 
  • Common/games room with tennis tables, Freeview and 40" HD TV (facilities subject to change) 
  • The University network and internet access are available by both wired and wireless networks. 
  • Card/mobile app operated launderette 
  • Bike shed 

Services

  • Fortnightly bedroom cleaning 
  • Weekly cleaning of kitchens and communal areas 

Accommodation packages

All rooms offered on a 41 week let (plus additional fee for freshers week included).

  • £8,134.70 (£195.01 per week) - Standard 4ft bed (309 beds)

All fees above include utilities, wired and wireless network, housekeeping service, out of hours Warden Service, Endsleigh insurance policy cover and hall activities.

Please note: If you are a returning student to halls for September 2024, you will have a 41 week let contract, but only be charged for 39 weeks, meaning you get to enjoy two weeks in halls for free. Applicable to contracts accepted prior to 1 August 2024 only.

Arrival dates

  • New Undergraduates: Tuesday 24 September 2024
  • Returning students: Friday 27 September 2024
  • Semester 2 students: Sunday 2 February 2025

New international students are able to move in early from Monday 23 September 2024, but you must notify us at sac@lboro.ac.uk if you plan to do this.

Let lengths

  • 41 week let (New Undergraduates): 24 September 2024 – 12 July 2025
  • 41 week let (Returning students): 27 September 2024 - 12 July 2025
  • 18 week let (Semester 1): 24 September 2024 - 31 January 2025
  • 23 week let (Semester 2): 2 February 2025 - 12 July 2025

Hall committee

The Student Hall Committee are on hand to offer support to the hall community. The committees are elected annually and are run by students for students. Their job is to make sure you have a fantastic time in halls with plenty of events for everyone.
