Tandrima's testimonial

Choosing to live off-campus was one of the best decisions I made while planning for my Master's Degree. It gave me the freedom to shape my experience on my own terms, without the pressures that can come with on-campus living. This choice made me more independent and better prepared me for life after graduation.

As a postgraduate student with a less demanding class schedule, living in town was ideal. My accommodation was just a 22-minute walk from campus, with the option to take a bus if needed. This distance allowed me to balance my studies with personal time, which I often spent exploring different parts of town and connecting with local vendors—some of whom became friends.

One of the things I loved the most was being able to pop over to Tesco at 10:30 pm if I needed something, rather than having to plan ahead for everything. Living in town gave me the best of both worlds: proximity to campus and the vibrant life of the town.

Srikanth's testimonial

I made a conscious decision to live off campus, and it turned out to be a great choice. When I came to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ for my master’s degree, I chose to book accommodation in town, and I’ve found it to be incredibly beneficial for several reasons.

First, living in town offers easy access to a variety of restaurants and supermarkets, which are somewhat distant from the university. Additionally, being in town has made it more convenient to find part-time work, given the abundance of shops and businesses nearby, and it allows me to get home quickly after work. Lastly, living in town provides more freedom for going out late at night, as most of the social and recreational activities are centred in the town rather than on campus.
