The programme team is composed of academic researchers, as well as retired military personel.
During 23 years in the RAF, Craig completed a PhD examining the effect of leadership on resilience within the military. This research led to the Veterans’ Resilience Programme being developed.
Dr Jamie Barker is a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with the British Psychological Society with over 20 years of experience working in business, professional sport and the military.
Dr Kristen Clements’ role is to facilitate the translation of existing sports science, clinical & public health research to inform the development of health services & educational materials.
Dr Iuliana Hartescu is a sleep scientist, specialising in insomnia and its treatment, and the application of sleep science to public health issues.
Dr Chris McLeod is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and an expert in understanding how to optimise eating behaviours to support health.
Professor Morgan is a psychologist specialising in the management of insomnia, and the maintenance of good sleep health.
Rory leads on the delivery and development of the RAF Association’s welfare services. Rory served in the Royal Navy until 2004, having spent much of his career attached to the Royal Marines.
Laura is an experienced mixed method researcher and is responsible for measuring and reporting the impact of the welfare and wellbeing services at the RAF Association. Her role in the Veterans
Carola oversees the development and delivery of the wellbeing strategy of the RAF Association. Her background is in nutrition and exercise with a focus on mental health and brain performance.
