Josh graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2017 with a first-class Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Following this, he was awarded the University’s Jubilee Scholarship in order to undertake a Masters by Research in Exercise Immunology. This research project investigated the influence of intensified aerobic exercise on neutrophilic pro-inflammatory cytokine production. In late 2020, Josh was awarded with a Postgraduate Diploma (distinction) from the Institute of Performance Nutrition. Josh began a funded PhD studentship at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in January 2021 which focuses on the field of Exercise Redox Biology.
Research
Josh’s PhD research will investigate the influence of exercise and dietary interventions on promoting redox adaptation and mitigating oxidative stress.
