Dan is an ESRC-funded PhD student researching mental health in professional cricket. Dan has completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Bath in Sport and Social Sciences and two MSc degrees at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ (Sport and Exercise Psychology and Social Science Research). His previous research has focused on concussions in professional football and the mental health experiences of both female and male professional cricketers in the UK. In early 2022, Dan had his first paper published in JASP and presented his research at conferences across the country. He also has a keen interest in qualitative research approaches and methods.

Research title: Mental Health in Professional Cricket
The PHD aims to build an evidence base around mental health within professional cricket from which contextual and effective interventions can be built, tested, and implemented.
