The aim of a PhD is to make a novel contribution to knowledge and to discover something that no-one else has done before. By doing so you will be contributing to the work we are doing to help shape the latest advancements across the sport, exercise and health sectors.
As a Doctoral Researcher at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ you will be responsible for managing your own schedule and developing your own ideas and approach, while being supported every step of the way. You will be supported by at least two supervisors, who will be on-hand to provide support, as well as academic expertise.
We provide a number of funded studentships across a diverse range of disciplines within sport, exercise and health sciences, as well as welcoming research proposals relevant to our wide-ranging expertise, encompassing medicine, molecular biology, nutrition, biomechanics, economics, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, sport management and more.
