Natasha Kirk completed her MSc studies in Musculoskeletal Sport Science and Health at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and now works with Professor Vicky Tolfrey as a Research Assistant within the Peter Harrison Centre on projects aligned with the area of rehabilitation science.

Prior to her master's degree, Natasha completed a BSc in Exercise and Sport Science at Exeter University and, alongside her studies, became a qualified personal trainer.

Natasha has been an avid gym-goer for several years as well as playing netball regularly. She has provided fitness coaching for her netball teams and worked as a personal trainer for just over a year. Natasha also enjoys skiing and returned from five months in the French Alps where she worked as a seasonnaire before joining Vicky's team.

Natasha, under supervision of Professor Vicky Tolfrey, will be involved in research into the effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation resistance training and protein supplementation on skeletal muscle mass in persons with a spinal cord injury. She will also assist with a systematic review addressing weight management of adults with a spinal cord injury.
