Henrietta obtained her BSc in Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast in 2018 and her MSc in Health Psychology from King’s College London in 2019. Henrietta then worked as a research assistant at Queen’s University Belfast before starting her PhD at ߲Ƶ in October 2020. Henrietta’s PhD investigated whether a strategy known as a “small change approach” could be used to help people manage their weight. Henrietta joined CLiMB in October 2023 as a weight management Research Associate. In May 2024, she became a Vice-Chancellor Independent Research Fellow.
Henrietta conducts research in the field of behavioural weight management and is particularly interested in weight gain prevention interventions. She has conducted systematic reviews of behaviour change interventions. She has also developed a small change weight management intervention and tested this within a feasibility randomised controlled trial.
Henrietta is a Trainee Health Psychologist and hopes to receive full chartership in 2025.
