Professor Cheryl Haslam

  • Emeritus Professor of Health Psychology

Cheryl Haslam is Professor of Health Psychology and Director of the Work and Health Research Centre. Cheryl’s research interests include: the ageing workforce; mental health at work; accidents and work-related ill-health; musculoskeletal disorders and health promotion in the workplace.

Cheryl has secured funding from: ESRC, BBSRC, EPSRC, AHRC, MRC, HSE, European Social Fund, Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), Leverhulme Trust and Nuffield Foundation. Her research is internationally acclaimed and has attracted awards from the British Medical Association, Swedish Institute of Working Life, American Psychological Association, US National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
