These are paid positions through which our ambassadors provide invaluable help and support for undergraduate recruitment. This will include talking about your programme and experiences with potential applicants and/or support the lab staff with demonstrations.
Ambassadors are expected to work on both the Friday 30 June and Saturday 1 July on both days from 08.00-16.00. Briefs will be provided depending on your role.
We recognise these events occur out of term time, but we greatly appreciate your support if you are available. Shifts are paid at a rate of £11.68 per hour and lunch vouchers will be provided. If you need accommodation, the School will pay for campus accommodation on the Thursday 29 and Friday 30 June.
This is a fantastic opportunity to represent your programme and the University and is a great addition to your CV when you start looking for employment. If this is something that you would like to get involved in, please email ssehs-casual@lboro.ac.uk. Work will be allocated on a first come first serve basis to meet the needs of the School.
Anyone who has not worked for the University before will need to go through a Right to Work Check so please bear this mind to allow enough time.
