The RIC-KI website details a range of topical and innovative research ideas that Idea Inventors wish to share with the worldwide scientific community as potential collaborative research projects. Potential research collaborators then complete the online expression of interest form and the RIC-KI support team connect both parties.
There are now almost 300 members from over 100 institutions across 24 countries. RIC-KI members have submitted 50 ideas, with 17 new collaborative research projects already underway and further partnerships currently under consideration.
A range of research ideas ready for collaboration can be viewed on the RIC-KI website, where you can also sign up for a free account. If you’re not sure that your research idea is ready to be listed, contact the team by emailing ric-ki@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk and they will be happy to discuss your idea with you.
There are five prizes available for ideas which demonstrate innovation: a £100 voucher for the best idea, alongside two £75 and two £50 vouchers.
To enter the competition, complete the online form and you will be automatically entered.
