Dr Heather Tulloch is the Senior Psychologist, co-Chair of the Patient Partnership Council, and Director of the Cardiovascular Health Psychology lab at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI). She is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and cross-appointed to the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She is a member of the Women’s Heart Team and the Transplant Team at UOHI, as well as the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance.
Dr. Tulloch's main research focus is on the development and evaluation of psychosocial interventions to improve mental health, quality of life, and cardiovascular outcomes among patients with heart disease and their partners. Her research is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. She provides psychological assessment and treatment services to patients with cardiovascular disease and their partners.
