This exciting Open Research Collective event brings together Dr Ash Casey, Reader in Physical Education and Pedagogy; Emma Binns, Social Media and Digital Engagement Officer, and David Barbour, SSEHS Doctoral Researcher, as they discuss Trust in Science and Social Media.
This session will cover questions including what needs to be considered when posting publicly as a researcher on online platforms such as Twitter, and what can individual researchers do to maintain the public’s trust in science. Furthermore, the session will look at what º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ does to ensure that research associated with º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is presented in a truthful manner, and how young researchers could/should engage in the research discussion on social media.
