Open Talk: Exploring how adolescents interpret messages around eating and body weight

Dr Florence Sheen will be delivering a free talk on her research exploring how adolescents interpret messages around eating and body weight, and how we can improve messaging and communication in this area.

Taking place at John Storer House - Ward's End, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, LE11 3HA - the talk will give members of the public the opportunity to ask any questions they have about the research taking place.

Parents of adolescents aged 10-15-years-old will also have the opportunity to sign up to be part of a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) steering group relating to this research, or to be contacted about future research studies.

Dr Florence Sheen uses her expertise in the psychology of eating behaviour, the food environment and public health, to further understand how individuals interact with their food and social environment to inform innovations that facilitate the health and wellbeing of individuals of all ages.

Using a co-production-led approach with adolescents aged 10-15-years-old, Dr Sheen's research will explore how we can better communicate with adolescents about eating and body weight to empower and support them.
