Seminar: UNESCO Fit for Life
We would like to invite you to a special online seminar/workshop by Nancy McLennan, the UNESCO lead on their flagship initiative: Fit for Life.
Attendees will be given a direct opportunity to find out more on UNESCO’s work, and to engage with one of their leading officials.
The first half of this seminar will be a standard presentation by Nancy with a Q&A on Fit for Life, open to all staff and students within the School, and to colleagues across the University.
The second half will be an open workshop for colleagues - that is, School staff, Beacon sub-theme leads, and contributors to the UNESCO Chair application – who, after hearing the presentation, are interested in staying behind to meet Nancy, to outline their research interests and areas of expertise, and to explore possible synergies or potential areas of collaboration with Nancy/UNESCO.
